Intramural 2018

The intramural main purpose is to develop and to enhance the four aspects such as the mental, physical, emotional, and social ability of a person. In activities like this, it helps every person to know better his/her self and others. It helps us to gain more self confidence. 

Every year,Our School Sta. Maria national high school(junior high) celebrates its annual intramural in which all students were group into six teams.Each team will have representatives in each sporting events. This yearly activity is exciting for the students because they will have break on studying and focus to their sport events even just for three days.

In September 19-21 2018 all students,teachers, and staff participate in this program. teachers and stuff planned to select athletes for district, probinsyal and caraa. They divided the student into six teams and I belong to the team of Gray shark(team 4).They compete with each other.After that elimination round occur and some of them has been eliminated and some of them win the competition.

                           


Felix (Cameron Dallas) is a legendary prankster who always charms his way out of trouble. However, after his third strike at school, the principal has had enough and expels him. Never defeated, Felix resorts to his infamous ways and devises a plan with his brother (Marcus Johns), best friend (Matt Shively), new friend (Lia Marie Johnson) and classmate (Andrea Russett) to hide it from his parents.

REACTION: This movie "EXPELLED" is beautiful to watch specially to a student like me that the major in TLE is  Computer,  because its talk about computer and teach us some techniques and others like how to hack a system.

Catching the dragon's tail

                              

 all form a line with their hands on the shoulders of a student in front. The first in line is the dragon's head, the last in line is the dragon's tail.

The dragon's head then tries to catch the tail by manoeuvring the line around so that he can tag the last player. All the players in the middle do their best to hinder the dragon's head. Don't let the line break!

When the head catches the tail, the tail player takes the front position and becomes the new dragon's head. All the other players move back one position.

REACTION: This is good to us because it is a active game and it is beautiful in our body. Although we are not the participant we enjoyed the game by viewing and cheering.

Common Problem of a STUDENT

• Disorganization/feeling overwhelmed
• Eating right and staying healthy
• Failing to manage money
• Failing to network
• Homesickness
• Not resolving relationship issues
• Poor grades/not studying or reading enough
• Poor sleep habits
• Skipping classes
• Wasting time/procrastinating

• Depression

  Problem: Every problem on this list can raise a student's stress level and contribute to emotional lows. Some find temporary relief in partying which, in excess and in the long run, may contribute to depression.

  Solution: If stress and depression are an issue, seek professional support. Many campuses have free counseling programs for students. Counselors are trained to listen and help students get back on track.

•  Relationships

  Problem: Relationships are good, but they can be overwhelming. Sometimes they take a lot of time and can begin to encroach on your education. There are times in every relationship when a couple will have a disagreement which can distract them from schoolwork and add to stress levels. Break-ups can drive some students even further into depression.

  Solution: Relationship advice is hard to give, since the solution varies on a case-by-case basis. Establish a clear communication of your needs and expectations from the outset. If you do break up, consult with a school counselor to work through the experience.

•  Time Management

  Problem: College is academically challenging. For many, college courses require much more effort than high school classes did. Unlike most high schools, colleges often pack two years of content into one year. Many students take a full 15 credit semester, while others try to cram in up to 18 or even 21 credits. At times, it seems impossibe to stay on top of it all.

  Solution: Know your limits. If you can't handle 18 credits in one semester, it is worth it in the long run to slow down and take only 15. While the purpose of a college education is to learn as much as you can, that doesn't mean studying all the time. What is a Friend?

A friend is a person who is willing to take you the way you are, A friend in the true sense is not a person who passively nods approval, A friend is someone who  you think your life would  be different if they didn't exist. A friend is someone who never leaves you out, you are always included when you are with them. A friend is a person who cares .A friend is there for you, no matter what.

Always remember that we need GOD's friendship, HE pleads for ours, GOD lives.HE is near. HE is available. And his son JESUS CHRIST is our redeemer and savior, that our friend.
